:DRAFT: Running AWS RDS Custom SQL Server on Pure Cloud Block Store
When Running Databases in the Cloud, Specifically in AWS you have two options, IaaS or PaaS. When using traditional RDS you need to utilize Standard EBS Storage. With the Introduction of RDS custom, you now have the ability to gain acccess to the underlying operating system which now allows us to utilize external storage! Keep reading to learn about the benefits and setup!
